Preschool
- East Glenville Christian Preschool was established
in 1963 as a non-profit, non-denominational Christian
School which is open to all. The Preschool is a ministry
of East Glenville Community Church. Our main goal
is to teach Christian values through practical situations
with the use of Bible stories, music, and prayer.
Our other objective is to prepare the children for
future learning by introducing basic concepts and
social skills in a variety of ways so they will have
a positive attitude for learning. We desire to meet
the special needs of each child for love and encouragement,
giving them an opportunity to know God and His love,
and the skills to interact with their peers in a positive
way.
The
Preschool is open from mid-September until late May.
We follow the Burnt
Hills - Ballston Lake school calendar from holidays
and closing for snow days.

in a loving way. Our goal is to have an adult for
every 5-6 three year olds and for every 6-7 four year
olds.

Nursery
- The EGCC Nursery is open and staffed every Sunday
morning for church service, and also during many other
church events, for children 4 years old and under.
Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly environment
where the love of Christ is evident and parents can
feel comfortable leaving their children while they
spend time in worship.
Jr.
Church - Junior Church is held during a portion
of the Sunday worship service. Children 4 years old
through 4th grade are excused during the second half
of the service and receive a Bible lesson at their
own level. This often includes a game, craft or activity
that helps the children be involved in an active way
in understanding the message that they are being taught.
There are 2 classes - one for those 4 years old through
1st grade and one for those in grades 2-4.
Sonshine
Singers -Whether in rehearsal or during our worship
services, the boys and girls in Sonshine Singers are
encouraged to sing and worship God with their hearts,
minds, and voices. We also hope to teach some of the
basic components of written music and good vocal techniques.
Each time a new song is introduced to the children,
they will be given a copy of the song lyrics and a
Bible verse to take home with them. We are hopeful
that the boys and girls would memorize each verse
as a way of connecting God's Word with the songs they
are learning. All children from Kindergarten through
4th grade are welcome and encouraged to join in practice
during Wednesday Nite Program.
"Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done
marvelous things." (Psalm 98:1)
Friday
Nite Alive - For children in kindergarten through
4th grade. Friday Nite Alive is a fun-filled program
from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, usually on the third Friday of
the Month from October through May. This is a time
for games, a Bible message, crafts, snacks, and music
planned around a theme. It offers the opportunity
for kids to interact with each other in a safe and
supervised church environment.
VBS
- A fantastic week of nonstop activities for kids
and exposure to God's word. Open to kids who have
had a year of preschool through 6th grade. Held every
morning during the last week of June, registration
is required. (Check back in May to download a registration
form)
Sunday
School - Starting at age 2 and continuing on through
12th grade, there are opportunities for all children
to learn God's Word. Curriculum gives an overview
of the Bible with opportunities for kids to open the
Word and apply it to their lives. Our Scripture Memory
program encourages kids to hide God's Word in their
hearts.
