The EGCC Men's Ministry serves to encourage and build up the men of our church to know Christ, encourage one another in the faith, and contribute meaningfully in service to Christ. Three key events are held each year to help focus the men in these things: a Winter Banquet, a Summer Golf Outing, and a Fall Weekend Retreat. Additionally, small groups of men meet regularly throughout the year to fellowship on a more individual level, support one another, and build each other up in Christ. In keeping with the role God has given men in their families, the men are encouraged to be committed to worship on Sundays, to serve actively in some ministry in the church, and to grow in their knowledge and practice of the Bible by attending weekly Sunday School and weekly EGCC Bible Studies - and to lead their families to do the same.

While many portions of the Bible resonate with the men of EGCC, Colossians 2:6-8 is particularly relevant: "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." -- Men of Christ, of godly character, solidly grounded in the truth of Scripture, humble and thankful in all they do.
