"What I like best about EGCC and my job is seeing people 'get it' spiritually. It's exciting to see them take their relationship with God in Christ seriously. Serious enough to probe for answers about life from God. Serious enough to serve Him in one capacity or another. Serious enough to enjoy the peace of a personal relationship with God in Christ."   His own life verse reflects this:

Philippians 1:20
"I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body whether by life or death."

Pastor Ron attended Bethel Seminary in St. Paul Minnesota and transferred to Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He was married to Paula in 1971 and she used her nursing skills to help him race through the three year program in four years. He graduated in 1973 with an M.Div. They then served the Medway Village Church in Massachusetts for 16 years before moving here with their four children: Jayme, Nathan, Ryan, and Lindsay. They have been at EGCC since 1989. "Well, not the children, they're all grown and the two girls are married. (Jayme to Todd and Lindsay to Brian - great matches by the way). We have two terrific granddaughters, Reilly and Peyton."
