Youth Ministry - The mission of Youth Ministry at East Glenville Community Church is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the youth of our church and community, to help them grow in their own personal relationship with Christ and to share that relationship with their peers. This mission is accomplished by offering a variety of opportunities for students to be involved in. All activities fall into at least one of the following purposes:

Worship (Celebrating God's presence and honoring Him with our lifestyle)
Evangelism (Communicating the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who don't yet have a personal relationship with Him)
Ministry (Demonstrating God's love by meeting the needs of others)
Discipleship (Educating God's people with His truth)
Fellowship (Incorporating God's people into a family where they can be known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged)

Crossroads - Crossroads is a program for 7th - 12th graders that happens twice a month. Events range from concerts and youth outings to themed nights at the church. Programs are open to all students in our community. Some events will require a sign up and/or permission slip for an event. Permission slips for the school year can be downloaded, filled out, and returned to Pastor Joe. For more information see the church calendar or contact Pastor Joe.

Crossings - The Crossings is a program for 5th and 6th graders. We usually meet on the second Friday of each month. The Crossings program gives kids a chance to have wholesome fun with other kids: play games, have a devotional time and a snack all centered on the theme for that night. We also do special activities during the year such as a swimming party, bowling, corn maze, or mini-golf. The big event of the year is an overnight camping trip on the second Friday and Saturday in May. You may dowload a permission slip here.

Kingdom Characters - The troupe of high school students perform at a variety of events throughout the year and have plays for many subjects. Our puppet ministry meets weekly to organize and practice scripts. If you are interested in hosting the Kingdom Characters, please contact the church office.

Salt & Light - Open to young people in grades 5-8, they generally sing during Sunday worship every 4-6 weeks. The choir meets on Wednesday nights at 6:45-7:30 pm and sings contemporary Christian music.

Youth Praise Band - Consists of committed high school instrumentalists and vocalists who love to serve the Lord with their gifts. The band plays 3-4 times a year and practices on an 'as-needed' basis.

Youth Group - meets weekly during our Wednesday Night Program. There are a lesson and activities for 5th & 6th graders and for 7th - 12th graders. It's a great time to meet with friends and meet with God.
